Billing, Cancellation & Refunds

The short version: cancel in two clicks, keep access until the end of what you paid for, and if something went wrong on our side we refund — no fights.
Billing
- Payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of Boroto Ltd (UK). We never see your card number.
- Plans are billed in advance, weekly or monthly, in your local currency where supported (GBP, EUR, USD). VAT is included where applicable.
- Your card statement will show our billing descriptor. If you don't recognise a charge, email us before opening a dispute — we resolve faster than banks do.
Cancellation
- Cancel anytime from your account or via the Stripe billing portal link in any receipt email. It takes two clicks — no retention flows.
- Cancellation stops future charges. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, then move to the free tier. Your projects and patterns are never deleted.
- For billing periods of one month or longer we email you before each renewal.
Refunds
- 14-day withdrawal (EU/UK consumers): for a new subscription you may withdraw within 14 days for a full refund, unless you've meaningfully used paid features in that time — by starting to use them you consent to immediate performance. We apply this fairly, not as a trap.
- Something broke: if a fault on our side stopped you using what you paid for, we refund or credit the affected period.
- Accidental charges: forgot to cancel and haven't used the app since renewal? Email within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund it. We're the anti-trap crochet app; we mean it.
- Refunds go to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days.
